promised, here are some snow photos taken last Monday (2nd Feb):
The photos were taken on a 1 hour walk taken on the Monday morning. It was really early so hardly anyone had disturbed the snow. Perfect!
What's even more unusual is the fact that, nearly 1 week later, the snow is still present! Plus more is forecast for tonight/tomorrow.
The roads are a little bit scary, predominantly because they've not been gritted as the Council is scared there might not be enough grit for the snow that is forecast.
Some Councils have actually bought table salt for gritting with instead of rock salt as there is such a shortage.
